Sheet & Plate

Steel sheet and plate is used across a multitude of applications, from car-body repairs, to metal staircases, to axle components. It is a hugely diverse product, and is available in multiple sizes, thicknesses and finishes.

Our ex-stock options cater for every eventuality imaginable, and cover the following ranges:

• 0.8mm to 150mm thicknesses
• Hot & cold finishes
• Plain (flat) and tread plate surface
• Self-colour and galvanised finishes
• S275 JR & S355 J2 grades.

We refer to two ranges of product:

1. Sheet Steel (0.8mm to 2.5mm thickness inclusive)
2. Plate Steel (3mm to 150mm thickness inclusive).

Sheet

Sheet steel (0.8mm to 2.5mm thickness) is available in the following standard sizes:

• 3000x1500 (10’ x 5’)
• 2500x1250 (8’ x 4’)
• 2000x1000 (6’ x 3’).

It can be delivered or collected in single sheets or in packs of up to 2 tonnes.

Alternatively, we can guillotine cut sheets up to 2500 long to any size or quantity you require.

Plate

Plate steel (3mm to 150mm thickness) is available in the following standard sizes:

• 2000x1000 (6’ x 3’)
• 2500x1250 (8’ x 4’)
• 3000x1500 (10’ x 5’)
• 4000x2000 (12’ x 6’).

It can be delivered or collected in single sheets or in packs of up to 2 tonnes.

We have invested heavily in a CNC controlled plasma cutting and drilling facility which enables us to:

• Plasma cut any shape you require in plate thicknesses from 5mm up to and including 45mm
• Oxy Acetylene cut any shape in plate thicknesses from 50mm up to and including 150mm
• Drill/tap holes up to 40mm diameter in material thicknesses up to and including 150mm.
